NEW MEMBERS / RENEWALS

Annual Dues – Rs. 10,000/-. Application has to be certified by the District President and the District President should check the following carefully before submitting same to the Secretary. Application should be completed properly, signed and the Oath properly filled up and signed. Clear- recently taken passport size photos -3, NIC copy and Police clearance certificate should be attached.

FAMILY MEMBERS – ONLY ONE FAMILY MEMBER FOR A FAMILY NEW MEMBERS / RENEWALS

DIVISIONAL MEMBERS

STUDENT MEMBERS

There would be Student Members from age 5 years to 20 years, under a different  name/group as “Future Leaders” and they will not have any rights and/or privileges of a Member of the Lanka Fundamental Rights Organization. To become a Member of this “Future Leaders”, they should be recommended by the Principal of the School and the parents’ consent. They will not be required to pay any membership fees or any other financial contributions. Their main responsibilities would be to promote peace, justice, anti-drug activities, sports, unity, respecting elders, respecting laws and better environment. They would be trained to be good citizens of the country. Their membership will expire as soon as they attain the age of 30 years or leave the educational institute which-ever occurs first.

MEMBER-AT-LARGE

A member of this Organization who has moved from the community, or because of health or other legitimate reason, is unable to attend Organization meetings regularly and desires to retain membership in this Organization, and upon whom the Executive board of directors of this Organization desires to confer this status. This status shall be reviewed each six months by the Executive board of directors of this Organization. A Member-at- Large shall not be eligible to hold office or to vote in any meetings or conventions, but shall pay such dues as the Organization may charge, not to exceed Rs.10,000 per annum.

HONORARY

An individual, not a member of this Organization, having performed outstanding service for the community or this Organization, upon whom this Organization desires to confer special distinction. This Organization shall waive off all dues on such a member, who may attend meetings, but shall not be entitled to any privileges of active membership.
